Turkey clinched the third spot of the Tournament aftet they beat Scotland on penalty shootout (5-3). Altay Bayindir, the Turkish goakeeper, stopped one penalty. He expressed his happiness.

« We wanted to win the tournament but the third place is satisfying. The game against Scotland was hard. They were very good but we were better. Congratulations to the. I want to thank the organizers. I am very happy to have played the Maurice Revello Tournament.

Each game, each tournament is a lesson for me. I learn every day. I try to have fun during each match. In this tournament, we faced several teams. Especially squads we never faced before. It permitted us to see different ways of playing.

The passion of the Turkish fans did not surprise me. At each tournament we play, they are many to come supporting us. This is also thanks to them that we clinched the third spot. »
