Débuts de rêve d’Helder Costa avec le Portugal

Convoqué pour la première fois en équipe nationale du Portugal en ce mois d’octobre, Helder Costa a été testé dans la foulée par le sélectionneur Fernando Santos qui a décidé de titulariser le joueur de Wolverhampton lors du match amical contre l’Ecosse (3-1) ce dimanche.
Un choix gagnant car le milieu offensif de 24 ans a trouvé le chemin des filets pour sa première apparition sur la scène internationale. A la 43e minute, Helder Costa a ouvert le score pour la Seleçao suite à un centre de Kevin Rodrigues.

Outre Helder Costa, plusieurs autres joueurs passés par le Tournoi Maurice Revello se trouvaient dans le onze de départ portugais : Beto, Cédric, Ruben Dias, Sergio Oliveira, Danilo Pereira et Bruno Fernandes.
