Like Joao Felipe few months earlier, another Portuguese youngster seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 has made his professional debut with Benfica this week-end : Florentino Luis.
The promising 19-year-old midfielder made his first appearance during the incredible 10-0 win over Nacional in Liga NOS.
The Benfica academy graduate has impressed as he won 6 tackles, more than any other player on the pitch. Despite only playing the last half hour of the game.
Muito feliz pela minha estreia numa noite memorável como esta.

Florentino Luis eventually discovered the professional level after shining at the youth level : he has been won both Euro U17 (in 2016) and Euro U19 (last summer) with Portugal. Meanwhile, he has also helped Benfica to reach the Youth League final in 2017.
