By beating China (1-0), Mexico are qualified for the semi-finals. After a difficult start to the game, “El Tri” eventually found the net on the hour mark thanks to Queretaro midfielder Paolo Yrizar.
In the semi-finals, Mexicains will face Japan on Wednesday at Aubagne (see the full schedule).
