The best player of the 2022 Tournament, Telasco Segovia, joins Sampdoria
Named best player of the 2022 Maurice Revello Tournament, Venezuelan Telasco Segovia arrives in Europe. The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with Sampdoria.
Just two months after the Maurice Revello Tournament, one of the revelations of this 2022 edition arrives on the continent. Telasco Segovia, winner of the Tournament's best player award, has joined Sampdoria. The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Genoa club.
At just 19 years of age, "Telasquito" will discover a new continent and a new type of football, that of Serie A. The Deportivo Lara kid, who spent all his young years with his club before turning professional, is leaving his native country to embark on an adventure that is as exciting as it is daunting at his young age.

The Venezuelan has all the qualities to shine at the top level and in Italy. With his above-average technique, Segovia impressed at the 2022 Maurice Revello Tournament with his wide range of play. His dribbling skills, touch, vision, passing ability and intelligent movement were all on display. The Barquisimeto native showed off all his class. He scored two goals, including one in the final against France, and led the Venezuelan national team to the final, as they were playing in the Tournament for the first time.
It is therefore not surprising to see him arrive in Europe. Telasco Segovia has joined the long list of players revealed at the Maurice Revello Tournament, definitely a career booster.
