PRESS RELEASE - The Maurice Revello Tournament and Pitch International sign a new TV broadcasting contract
Festival International Espoirs, the organisers of the Maurice Revello Tournament, are delighted to announce that they have signed a new contract with Pitch International for the international broadcasting rights to the Maurice Revello Tournament.
The Maurice Revello Tournament has become one of the best-known and most respected football events in the world, bringing together every year the men's U-21 national teams of the world's greatest footballing nations.
Pitch International is an industry-leading full-service sports marketing agency that specialises in global media rights, sponsorship sales, event management, content production and their most recent acquisition, Pitchside hospitality, providing world-class and exclusive hospitality, fine dining and luxury travel experiences.
This new agreement runs from 2024 to 2028 and grants Pitch International the international use and sale (outside France) of the broadcasting rights for the 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions of the Maurice Revello Tournament. For the same period, Festival International Espoirs, the organisers of the Maurice Revello Tournament, retains the marketing rights to the competition.
The Maurice Revello Tournament is delighted to have renewed its contract with Pitch International for the next five editions. This agreement will ensure the long-term future of the Tournament and guarantee a high standard of competition from the 50th edition, which will take place from 3 to 16 June 2024, with the participation of some of the teams qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The Maurice Revello Tournament Organising Committee also sees this as proof of a strong, loyal and constructive working relationship, and of the trust placed in it by Pitch International, which has supported the organisation of the event since 2013 and enabled the competition to be showcased on all five continents.
For more than ten years, this collaboration has been based on transparency and exchange, enabling the interests of both the Maurice Revello Tournament and Pitch International to be safeguarded.
The Organising Committee would like to warmly thank Paul McGrath, Jon Owen, Anthony Bloch and all the teams at Pitch International for their trust and expertise, which have helped the Maurice Revello Tournament to develop its value and reputation throughout the world.
