Marc Bourrier nous a quittés
C'est avec une profonde tristesse que l'organisation du Tournoi Maurice Revello a appris le décès de Marc Bourrier ce lundi 12 août.
L'ancien entraineur français est le co-recordman du nombre de participations au Tournoi en tant que sélectionneur, avec neuf participations (1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992). Au cours de ces neuf années, il a remporté avec l'équipe de France la compétition à quatre reprises : 1984, 1985, 1988 et 1989.

Marc Bourrier a ainsi coaché sur les pelouses du Tournoi des joueurs tels que Zinédine Zidane, Didier Deschamps, Jean-Pierre Papin, Lilian Thuram, Fabien Barthez, Laurent Blanc, Youri Djorkaeff ou encore David Ginola.
Membre du staff de Michel Hidalgo lors du sacre tricolore à l'Euro 1984, Marc Bourrier a également remporté l'Euro Espoirs en 1988, dans la foulée de son titre au Tournoi. Il a également dirigé l'Olympique de Marseille en 1993.
L'ensemble de l'organisation du Tournoi Maurice Revello adresse toutes ses pensées et ses condoléances à la famille et aux proches de Marc Bourrier.
