« Nous sommes la seule équipe à avoir joué 4 matches en 6 jours (ndlr : c'est également le cas du Congo, Portugal et Brésil). C’est dangereux en fin de saison. Les joueurs n’ont rien à se reprocher, ils ont laissé beaucoup d’énergie. On est tombé contre une belle équipe de Colombie qui a bien utilisé le vent. Avec un peu plus de réussite en première période on aurait pu espérer mieux. Ça se joue à des détails. On s’incline contre un adversaire meilleur que nous. Le remplacement de Kevin Mayi n’est pas un choix anodin. Quand après 20 minutes de jeu un joueur n’est pas dans son match ça fait déjà un quart de la rencontre gaspillée. On a laissé passer notre chance. »
« We are the only team who played four games in six days. It’s dangerous at the end of the season. I don’t reproach anything to my players, they used lot of energy. We contested a beautiful team of Colombia, who employed the wind. We lost against a better opponent than us. The substitution of Kevin Mayi is not an harmless choice.
