A draw and a final for Brazil !
A la reprise, le Nigeria pousse et va égaliser. Comme en première mi-temps, Gero est idéalement servi par un coéquipier. Là, l’attaquant prend la bonne décision. Il temporise, élimine son adversaire et s’en va battre Alisson (52’). Ensuite la rencontre devient plus tendue. L’arbitre est mis à rude épreuve et les fautes s’enchaînent. Il faut attendre la fin du match pour revoir de réelles occasions. Giovanni sur coup franc (69’) et Kayode sur corner (75’) ont l’occasion de donner l’avantage à leur équipe. Sans succès. Les deux équipes se neutralisent mais l’essentiel est ailleurs pour le Brésil. Avec ce point, l’équipe d’Alexandre Gallo est assurée de disputer la finale face à la Colombie.
The beginning of the game is not exciting. Players don’t offer any occasion to the audience. The first worry will be Nigerian. Gero, perfectly served by a team-mate, finds himself totally alone. Lima dribbles perfectly his opponent and opens the score with a left-foot shot ! (40’).
During the second half, Nigeria puts pressure on Brazil and will equalise. Like in the first half, Gero is ideally served by a team-mate. Here, the Nigerian forward makes the good choice. He controls the ball, dribbles the defender and beats Alisson with self-control (52’). Then the match becomes tenser on the pitch and fouls succeed each other. We have to wait the end of the game to see new occasions. Giovanni on a free-kick (69’) and Kayode with a header on a corner (75’) try to give the lead to their team. Without success. The referee whistles the end of the game. Brazil didn’t win but the most important is done. With this point, the team coached by Alexandre Gallo is guaranteed to play the final against Colombia.
