”In my opinion, Portugal always dominated the game because we have the control of the ball. During a moment, Chili has few attempts but we had the control. I’m happy that Portugal has the best attack of the tournament. That makes me happy but I’m also happy by our defensive organization. I think our team is very balanced between defense and attack. Bruno Fernandes, as other players of the team, have a big future in our point of view.”

« Nous avions gagné, c’était un bon match. Désormais, nous devons aborder le prochain match comme nous avons abordé les deux précédents. On se fixe des objectifs, match après match, et le prochain objectif est de gagner le prochain match. Notre but est de tout donner sur le terrain avant tout. C’est la meilleure façon de représenter notre pays. »

« On est très triste car nous sommes presque élminés. Même s’il reste deux matches et que tout est possible. Lorsqu’on perd des ballons, on s’expose aux attaques rapides de nos adversaires. On laisse des espaces et on paye cash nos erreurs. La philosophie du Chili, ce n’est pas d’attendre et d’être opportuniste. On se devait de jeter toutes nos forces pour essayer de revenir au score. On va faire tout notre possible pour remporter les deux prochains matches et essayer d’accrocher la deuxième place du groupe ».
