Le Paris Saint-Germain a vaincu le FC Barcelone (3-2) et a signé l’une des plus belles victoires de la deuxième journée de la Ligue des Champions. Pas moins de six joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs ont pris part à la rencontre côté parisien.
Ainsi, Maxwell (Brésil – 2002), Van der Wiel (Pays-Bas – 2007), Marquinhos (Brésil – 2014) et Thiago Motta (Brésil – 1999) étaient dans le onze de départ du PSG. En cours de rencontre, Yohan Cabaye (France – 2006) et Jean-Christophe Bahebeck (France – 2014) sont entrés en jeu.

Dans les autres groupes, Arda Turan (Turquie – 2004) a donné la victoire à l’Atletico Madrid face à la Juventus Turin en marquant l’unique but de la rencontre (1-0). De son côté, Cristiano Ronaldo a inscrit un penalty lors de la victoire étriquée du Real Madrid sur le terrain de Ludogorets (2-1). Enfin, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Pays-Bas – 2001) a évité une déconvenue au Schalke 04 en égalisant face à Maribor (1-1).

Paris Saint-Germain beat FC Barcelona (3-2) in a thrilling game during the Matchday 2 of Champion’s League. Six players who contested the Toulon Tournament helped PSG to defeat the Spanish side.
Maxwell (Brazil – 2002), Van der Wiel (Netherlands– 2007), Marquinhos (Brazil – 2014) et Thiago Motta (Brazil – 1999) were selected in the starting line-up. During the game, Yohan Cabaye (France – 2006) and Jean-Christophe Bahebeck (France – 2014) came off the bench and contributed to this win.

In the other groups, Arda Turan (Turkey – 2004) gave the win to Atletico Madrid against Juventus Turin in scoring the goal-game winner (1-0).
