Every week, we take our usual look around the best championships to follow the performances of the players who contested the Toulon Tournament in the past.
In Spain, Real Madrid is currently unstoppable. The Merengues have registered against Eibar (4-0) their 9th consecutive win in la Liga and can thank the Toulon Tournament former players. James Rodriguez (Colombia – 2011) scored a goal and gave an assist while Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003) scored twice and delivered an assist too.
In France, Paul-Georges Ntep (France – 2013) is one of brightest young talents in la Ligue 1 and he proved that again. The Stade Rennais winger scored the winning-goal game against Guingamp (1-0). He has already scored 5 goals and delivered 2 assists since the start to the season.
In England, Newcastle recorded a 5th successive win thanks to a victory against QPR (1-0). The winning-goal game was scored by Moussa Sissoko (France – 2009).
