AFCON 2015 : 13 Toulon tournament former players qualified for the next round

La phase de groupes de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations 2015 est désormais terminée. Il ne reste plus que huit équipes en lice pour obtenir le trophée continental.

Le choc des quarts de finale est sans conteste la rencontre entre la Côte d’Ivoire et l’Algérie. Six anciens joueurs du tournoi seront concernés par cette rencontre. Du côté ivoirien, on retrouve Gervinho, l’ailier de l’AS Roma qui a pris part au Festival en 2007, tandis que les Algériens pourront compter sur Yacine Brahimi notamment.

Dans les autres rencontres, la RD Congo de Youssouf Mulumbu, passé par le tournoi en 2007, aura fort à faire face au Congo, un pays voisin. Plus tard, le Ghana emmené par John Boye sera aux prises avec la Guinée de Florentin Pogba.

Au total, 13 joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs vont prendre part à la suite de la CAN 2015. La liste complète :

The group stages of the 2015 African Cup of Nations have been completed. There are only eight teams which can win the title.

The main game of the quarter-finals is the clash between Ivory Coast and Algeria. Six Toulon Tournament former players will be involved in this game. In the Ivoirian side, we’ll see Gervinho, the AS Roma winger who took part in the Festival in 2007, while Algerians will be led by Yacine Brahimi.

In the other games, the DR Congo of Youssouf Mulumbu, who contested the tournament in 2007, will play against Congo, their close neighbour. Later, the Ghana of John Boye will face to Guinea of Florentin Pogba.
