Chaque semaine, nous revenons sur les performances des joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs. Les joueurs colombiens se sont particulièrement distingués lors de ce week-end.

James Rodriguez (Colombie – 2011) a contribué au succès du Real Madrid face à la Real Sociedad (4-1) en inscrivant le but de l’égalisation. Plus tard, Jhon Cordoba (Colombie – 2013) a aidé Granada à se défaire d’Elche (1-0) en marquant l’unique but de la rencontre.

De son côté, Radamel Falcao (Colombie – 2004) a marqué un but lors de la victoire de Manchester United face à Leicester (3-1).

Outre les Colombiens, d’autres joueurs passés par le tournoi se sont illustrés. Loïc Rémy (France – 2007) a ouvert le score lors du duel au sommet entre Chelsea et Manchester City (1-1) tandis que Bas Dost (Pays-Bas – 2009) a réalisé un doublé et a joué un rôle majeur lors de la superbe victoire de Wolfsburg face au Bayern Munich (4-1).
