Le Costa Rica va découvrir le Festival
"Los Ticos" viendront en France afin de pouvoir se confronter au football des autres continents et engranger de l'expérience internationale. Parallèlement, les jeunes Costaricains se serviront de ce tournoi afin de se préparer pour les éliminatoires du championnat U23 de la zone CONCACAF.
Les performances de "La Sele" seront surveillées de prés par Paulo Wanchope, l'ancien buteur de Manchester City devenu sélectionneur de l'équipe senior du Costa Rica. "L'idéal serait de disputer ce tournoi avec des joueurs que nous avons déjà observé lors des éliminatoires [...] Des éléments qui jouent régulièrement avec Alajuelense et Saprissa ainsi que des joueurs comme John Jairo Ruiz qui évolue déjà en seniors" a-t-il déclaré au site officiel de sa fédaration.

Costa Rica will discover the Toulon Tournament
During the next weeks, we will introduce the teams which will take part in the 2015 Toulon Tournament. This time, we talk about Costa Rica which will contest the Toulon Tournament for the first time !
"Los Ticos" will come in France to pitting their wits against national teams from different continents. Meanwhile, "La Sele" will take part in the Toulon Tournament to prepare the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship's qualifiers.
Paulo Wanchope, the Manchester City former striker who became the head coach of the Costa Rica senior squad, will take a closer look at the performances of the young "Ticos" during the competition.
"It would be perfect if we can contest the tournament with players that we observed during the qualifiers.[...] We want also to send regular players of Alajuelense and Saprissa along with guys like John Jairo Ruiz who is already a regular member of the senior squad' he told to the federation's official website.
