La Côte d'Ivoire effectue son retour
La Côte d’Ivoire fut éliminée récemment des éliminatoires des Jeux Africains 2015 par le Burkina Faso. Un échec que les jeunes Ivoiriens voudront effacer en réalisant une bonne performance lors du Festival International Espoirs.
Le but sera également de préparer la prochaine Coupe d’Afrique U23. Une compétition continentale qui tient à cœur aux Éléphants d’autant plus qu’elle servira d’épreuve de qualification pour les JO 2016. En effet, les trois meilleures équipes africaines gagneront le droit de disputer l’évènement planétaire. Les prochains mois seront donc déterminants pour la Côte d’Ivoire U23.
A noter que la Côte d’Ivoire a déjà remporté le Festival International Espoirs en 2010. Cette année-là, le meilleur joueur du tournoi fut un Ivoirien : Serge Deblé, actuel joueur de Viborg (Danemark).

Ivory Coast return to the Toulon Tournament
During the next weeks, we will present to you the teams which will take part in the 2015 Toulon Tournament. This time, we talk about Ivory Coast which will take part in a Toulon Tournament for the eighth time. The last participation of this national team was in 2011.
The Ivory Coast U23 was recently eliminated from the 2015 All Africa Games qualifiers by Burkina Faso. The young Ivorians want to erase the memory of this bad result. Now, they’re aiming to shine in the Toulon Tournament to prepare the next African Cup of Nations U23. This U23 championship, acts as a qualification for the 2016 Olympic Games with the top three African teams qualifying.
It should also be noted that Ivory Coast has already won the Toulon Tournament in 2010. This year, the best player of the tournament was an Ivorian : Serge Deblé, the current player of Viborg (Denmark).
