The 2023 World Cup will be held from 20th July to 20th August in both Australia and New Zealand. Thirty players seen at the Sud Ladies Cup will have the privilege to compete in the World Cup.
Oceania will be the epicentre of the football world during a complete month : from 20th July to 20th August, thirty-two nations will compete in the World Cup co-organised by Australia and New Zealand.
Most successful nation in the competition’s history and current title holders, United States appear as the favourites for this edition. If the Americans will be led by their usual stars, several rising stars who played the Sud Ladies Cup in 2018 are also part of the team like the forward Sophia Smith and the defender Naomi Girma.

Other teams will try to challenge the American hegemony : for example, Germany of Klara Bühl or France led by its new wave with players like Selma Bacha or Laurina Fazer.

It should be noted that thirteen Haitian seen at the Sud Ladies Cup will play the World Cup this summer in Oceania !
