Vargas, vainqueur et meilleur buteur de la Copa America 2016 !
Les titres s’enchaînent ! Le Chili s’adjuge sa deuxième Copa America d’affilée après avoir battu l’Argentine en finale (0-0, 4-2 pen) ce dimanche soir. Eduardo Vargas, vainqueur du Tournoi de Toulon 2009, a joué un rôle majeur dans ce succès puisque l’attaquant d’Hoffenheim termine meilleur buteur de la compétition avec 6 réalisations.
L’histoire se répète pour l’attaquant de 26 ans qui avait grandement aidé le Chili à remporter la Copa America l’année dernière en terminant co-meilleur buteur. Jusqu’à présent, Vargas a inscrit 10 buts en Copa America (4 en 2015 et 6 en 2016) durant toute sa carrière. Un total qui lui permet d’être le co-meilleur buteur de l’histoire du Chili en Copa America !
