Coupe du Monde 2018 : le Costa Rica et Matarrita se lancent parfaitement !
Le Costa Rica a parfaitement entamé le cinquième et dernier tour des qualifications de la zone CONCACAF pour la Coupe du Monde 2018. Les Ticos se sont imposés sur le terrain du Trinité-et-Tobago (2-0) grâce à des buts de Cristian Bolanos et Ronald Matarrita, passé par le Festival International Espoirs en 2015.
Matarrita a assuré la victoire des siens en concluant parfaitement une contre-attaque dans le temps additionnel. A noter que c’est le 2e but inscrit en 16 sélections pour le joueur de 22 ans du New York City FC.
Pour rappel, les trois premiers de la zone CONCACAF se qualifient directement pour la Coupe du Monde 2018 tandis que le quatrième disputera un barrage contre une équipe asiatique.
