Sergio Diaz grandit au sein de la réserve du Real Madrid
Sergio Diaz, élu révélation du Festival International Espoirs 2016, a été recruté cet été par le Real Madrid en provenance de Cerro Porteno (Paraguay). La formation madrilène a offert un contrat de six ans à l’attaquant de 18 ans tandis que le montant du transfert est estimé à 6 M€. Preuve que le club espagnol croit beaucoup en son potentiel.
Arrivé à Madrid en juillet, l’international paraguayen U20 s’est adapté rapidement au football européen comme en témoigne son début de saison prometteur avec l’équipe réserve du Real Madrid. Diaz a déjà inscrit 8 buts en 19 rencontres toutes compétitions confondues avec la Castilla. Reste désormais à poursuivre cette progression lors des prochains mois afin d’espérer intégrer l’équipe première du Real Madrid dans un avenir proche.
