Marrugo brace seals 6th title for Independiente Medellin !
Independiente Medellin are champions of Colombia for the 6th time of their history after beating Junior (2-0) during the second leg of the final. Christian Marrugo, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2006, was the hero for Medellin as he netted a brace. The 30-year-old gave the lead to his team after 35 minutes with a curling shot. Then, the midfielder netted his second goal during the stoppage time !
