Two former Toulon Tournament players played a key role in this success : Ederson Moraes (winner of the tournament in 2014) and Fernandinho (who came in 2004).
The 24-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper was the Man City’s most used played in the Premier League as he started all the 33 league games played by his side so far. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old midfielder has started 30 Premier League matches in this current campaign.
This is the second title earned by the Citizens after the League Cup won against Arsenal (3-0) on February.
