Elliot Watt made his professional debut with Wolves

Alongside players like Billy Gilmour and Michael Johnston, Elliot Watt helped Scotland to reach the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 semi-finals. Few weeks later, the 18-year-old midfielder burst onto the scene with Wolverhampton.

The Preston-born has played his first game at the professional level on this Tuesday. The Scottish youngster has started the League Cup game between Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday (2-0) and has impressed the observers. “He was strong in the tackle and barely misplaced a pass in the hour he was patrolling Wolves’ midfield”, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Thanks to this promising display, Watt will probably have another opportunity to play with the first-team during the rest of the season !
