On the lovely pitch of the Stade d'Honneur in Mallemort, the Mexicans faced the Japanese today in the match for fifth place. As usual, the Japanese were organised defensively and opportunistic offensively. They finished fifth in the fiftieth edition, just ahead of the Mexicans.
