France and Saudi Arabia through the semi-finals... Group A - Matchday 3 recap

The final Group A matchday of the Maurice Revello Tournament was held today at Stade de Lattre-de-Tassigny in Aubagne, concluding the group phase with high drama and decisive results.
Saudi Arabia vs Mali (2–2, 5–6 on penalties):
Saudi Arabia and Mali played out a 2–2 draw in a fast-paced, hard-fought encounter. The Saudis led early through Al Alaeli, but Mali equalized before the break via Diakité. Samaké gave Mali a second-half lead, which was later canceled out by Abdullah Radif. In the penalty shootout, Mali edged Saudi Arabia 6–5, securing a bonus point. Mali finishes third in the group, while Saudi Arabia’s progression depends on France’s result against Panama.
France vs Panama (2–1):
France secured top spot in Group A with a 2–1 victory over Panama. The French opened the scoring with a confident finish by Aurélien Nguiamba, and Mohamed-Ali Cho doubled the lead early in the second half. Panama pulled one back through Castillo but couldn’t find an equalizer. With this win, France moves into the semi-finals with seven points, while Panama finishes second and will compete in the 5th–8th place classification round.
