Chara et Ridgewell sacrés champions de MLS avec Portland !
Ce dimanche soir, les Portland Timbers ont remporté le premier titre de leur histoire en Major League Soccer en battant Colombus Crew (2-1) en finale. Les Timbers ont marqué deux buts lors des sept premières minutes pour s’assurer la victoire. Comme à l’accoutumée, le défenseur anglais Liam Ridgewell (Festival International Espoirs 2005) et le milieu colombien Diego Chara (Festival International Espoirs 2006) étaient présents dans le onze de départ de Portland. Les deux anciens du Festival ont joué un rôle majeur dans ce succès historique !

The Porland Timbers clinched their first Major League Soccer title on Sunday by beating the Columbus Crew (2-1) in final. The Timbers scored twice in the first seven minutes to ensure the victory.AS usual, the English defender Liam Ridgewell (2005 Toulon Tournament) and the Colombian midfielder Diego Chara (2006 Toulon Tournament) were in the Portland’s starting line-up. The two Toulon Tournament former players played a key role in this historic triumph !
