Lewis Baker, winner of the Toulon Tournament 2016 with England, is spending his second successive season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, the Eredivisie side. The England U21 international was the Festival’s top scorer (4 goals) during the summer and he has prolonged his good form with Vitesse Arnhem.
The Chelsea loanee has already netted 5 goals in 10 Eredivisie games this season. The 21-year-old midfielder has equaled his best record for a season, made during the last campaign with Vitesse Arnhem : 5 goals in the 32 league games.
The Luton-born has enjoyed a great start to the season and he certainly doesn’t want to stop there. At the end of the season, Baker will return to his parent club Chelsea and if he continues his great form during the rest of this current campaign, he would certainly have a chance to break into the Chelsea first-team the next season.
