OFFICIAL : Wales to take part in the 2017 Toulon Tournament
The Toulon Tournament gives us the opportunity to discover new football talent from anywhere in the world. Next year, we’ll keep a close eye on Wales as the European side will take part in the Festival for the first time of the history.
The Welsh senior national team has made history this summer as Wales have reached the Euro 2016 semi-finals ! This successful campaign can be the start of a new era for the Welsh football and that’s why the Football Association of Wales (FWA) have agreed to feature in the next edition of the Toulon Tournament. Our competition can be a good opportunity for the Welsh young players to gain some experience as they can reap the benefits of playing teams from across the world.
Next year, the Toulon Tournament will be held from May 29 to June 10. The competition will feature 12 teams placed in 3 four-team groups.
