Bas Dost, the Sporting’s in-form striker
Since joining Sporting Portugal this summer from Wolfsburg, Bas Dost has been in blistering form. The 27-year-old striker, who took part in the 2009 Toulon Tournament, netted a brace against Estoril (4-2) this week-end and took his tally to four goals in three league games.
Thanks to his performances, the Netherlands international (8 caps) has proved his worth to his new manager and has confirmed he is a proven goal scorer. Between 2012 and 2016, Dost has scored 48 goals in 117 games in all competitions with Wolfsburg.
