Franck Kessié has made a dream start to the season
Thanks to his recent performances with his club and his national team, Franck Kessié, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2015, has made a name for himself.
The Ivorian defensive midfielder has made a dream start to the season with the Serie A side Atalanta. During the first league game of the season, his first appearance in the Italian First Division, the 19-year-old has netted a brace in the thrilling game between Atalanta and Lazio (3-4). One week later, Kessié, distinguished himself again as he scored during the Atalanta loss to Sampdoria (1-2).
Also, it should be noted that the Ouragahio-born has scored a goal against Cremonese (3-0) in Coppa Italia. To sum up, Kessié has netted 4 goals in 3 games in all competitions : not bad for a defensive midfielder ! Everything is fine too for the Atalanta Bergame player with his national team. Kessié earned his 6th international cap on September 3 during the 1-1 draw between Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone in the AFCON 2017 qualifiers.
