Samassekou earns first Mali senior call-up !
Diadié Samassekou, who impressed during the Toulon Tournament 2016, has caught the eye of the Mali head coach, Alain Giresse. The 20-year-old was named in the Mali senior squad for the AFCON 2017 qualifier against Benin (September 4).
The Red Bull Salzbourg (Austria) midfielder is in impressive form and has been rewarded with this call-up. During the Toulon Tournament 2016, Samassekou distinguished himself by his technical abilities and scored two goals in three games.
