Mali and Mexico play out a thrilling 3-3 draw !
It’s without doubt one of the best games of this Toulon Tournament 2016 ! Mali were held to a 3-3 draw by Mexico after a thrilling match ! The first half was very lively as both teams scored twice. Tianda put Mali ahead with a fantastic goal. The Africans doubled their lead after 16 minutes as Diarra netted a lovely lob ! Unfortunately for Mali, Mexico reduced arrears thanks to Cota and then Fierro equalized with a beautiful volley !
The second half was spectacular too. Mexico had a big chance as the Rivas header found the crossbar. Finally, “El Tri” took the lead after 54 minutes : picked out by Rivas, Gonzalez scored the third goal of his team. Just after the hour mark, Mali equalized thanks to a beautiful free-kick from Niane. Finally, the score will not change despite several big chances for each team during the last minutes ! What a game !
