Ghezzal is finally blossoming with Olympique Lyonnais
Rachid Ghezzal, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2013, is living a resurrection with Olympique Lyonnais. During the first half of the season (between August and December), his future with Lyon seemed virtually over as he has never started a Ligue 1 game during this period. However, the Algerian attacking midfielder has shown great professionalism to come back. Finally, his patience was rewarded as he forced his way into the Lyon starting line-up since the arrival of Bruno Génésio as a head coach.
The 23-year-old has shown consistency in his performances over the last months as Ghezzal took his tally for the season to 5 goals and 5 assists in 23 league games played (including 10 as a starter). Now, the aim of the Algeria international (3 caps) will be to maintain this form…
