Janssen earns first Netherlands senior call-up !
Vincent Janssen, who took part in the 2015 Toulon Tournament, was named in the Netherlands senior squad for the next friendlies against France and England. The 21-year-old is in impressive form with AZ Alkmaar since the start to the season and has been rewarded with this call-up. Janssen has already netted 21 goals in all competitions in this current campaign : 17 goals in Eredivisie, 3 in Europa League and 1 in Dutch Cup.
This first Netherlands call-up caps a remarkable rise for a player who was still playing in Dutch second division during the last season !
