Mouctar Diakhaby netted his first Ligue 1 goal
Mouctar Diakhaby, runner-up of the Toulon Tournament 2016 with France, has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last weeks with Olympique Lyonnais.
After making his Ligue 1 debut on September 10 against Girondins de Bordeaux (1-3), the 19-year-old centre-back has scored on this Wednesday his first goal in the French top flight during the brilliant 6-0 win over Nantes. After 75 minutes, Diakhaby has netted the fifth goal of his team with a powerful header.
Diakhaby is living a fairytale start to the season with Lyon as the Vendôme-born has already started 9 games in all competitions during this current campaign. Promising !
