Nicolas Castillo’s brace hands Chilean league title to Universidad Catolica
Universidad Catolica clinched their 12th Chilean league title on this Thursday after a 2-0 win over Temuco. The goals were scored by Nicolas Castillo in the second half : a perfect header after 63 minutes and a penalty after 89 minutes.
The 23-year-old forward, who took part in the Toulon Tournament 2014, has had a huge impact for Universidad Catolica during this campaign as he finished as the league top scorer with 13 goals in 12 games ! Thanks to this title, Universidad Catolica secured their spot for the Copa Libertadores 2017.
