PSG-Barcelona : Presnel Kimpembe set for chance to showcase his potential
He will be under the spotlight ! Due to the Thiago Silva’s injury, Presnel Kimpembe, winner of the Toulon Tournament 2015, will be in the PSG’ starting line-up for the first leg of the Champions League last 16 clash against FC Barcelona on this Tuesday night.
For his first Champion’s League appearance, the 21-year-old centre-back will have to face Neymar, Luis Suarez as well as Leo Messi, probably the best attacking trio in the world ! It should be noted that Kimpembe will play alongside Marquinhos, another centre-back who took part in the Toulon Tournament.
This European debut caps the astonishing rise enjoyed by the French defender over the last months. Kimpembe has been called up to the France senior squad for the first time on October and he has already played 16 games in all competitions with PSG this season, all of them as a starter.
Now, he has to confirm his good form on this Tuesday against the Barcelona stars…
