OFFICIAL : Czech Republic will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2017
We are delighted to announce that Czech Republic will compete in the Toulon Tournament 2017 which will be held from 29 May to 10 June. The Czech national team will compete in our competition for the 5th time.
Last year, Czech Republic have impressed as they have finished 4th of the Toulon Tournament. The centre-back Filip Kasa and the midfielder Jan Sykora have been named in the best XI of the competition. Furthermore, Jan Sykora earned his first international cap with the Czech Republic senior squad, few months after playing the Toulon Tournament.
A number of famous Czech players took part in the Toulon Tournament. We think about Tomáš Ujfaluši, the former Atletico Madrid defender, as well as the former AC Milan left-back Marek Jankulovski.
Eight nations have already confirmed their place for the Toulon Tournament 2017 : Wales, Ivory Coast, Scotland, France, England, Mali, Japan and Czech Republic with the four remaining nations to be announced soon.
