Sergio Diaz selected with Paraguay's first team

Sergio Diaz, winner of the breakthrough player award last year, has just been elected with the Paraguay's first team. The 19 years old striker was bought 5M€ last summer by Real Madrid.. Francisco Arce, the Paraguay manager, decided to give him a chance this time after a great season with the Real Madrid's reserve team in the third Spanish league.

4 goals and 5 assists in 8 games during this year Youth League but Diaz will have to compete against Juan Manuel Iturbe and Federico Santander in order to make his presence essential in the Albirroja's roster.
