Toulon Tournament, the first big test for Libor Holik
Only 19 years old, but already playing at professional level. Libor Holik, 19-year-old Czech right-back, has just completed his first full season. Despite his young age, the defender played 19 games in all competitions. He will also take part to the Toulon Tournament with his national team. The opportunity for him to continue his development.
He is playing at Slavia Praha for many years, but Holik couldn’t really express himself. It is on loan, at MFK Karvina, that he realized his first season in the Czech first division. The young player played 17 games in the local championship, and even showed himself in the European competition. Libor Holik took part to the Slavia Praha’s Europa League campaign before to be loaned out to Karvina.
If he only shows himself now at the highest level, he plays for his national team for several years. The defensive player appears with the Czech Republic since U16. His great experience at the international level is remarkable. There are not so many youngsters with a so big international experience. So Libor Holik has a certain advantage, because he is accustomed to play big games.
