The whole Indonesia behind Indra Sjafri
The Indonesian football is all supporting them. Indra Sjafri and his selection will take part to the Maurice Revello Tournament. If this is the first Indonesia participation in the event, the coach expects his team to show good things. With his experience and his own methods, he gives himself ways to fulfill his ambitions.
All players selected for the Tournament play in their home country. The coach does not have stars as some other nations have. To perform despite this talent deficit, he plans to lead a real commando to try to show the best of his team to the whole world. If many selections meet only a few days before a competition, Indra Sjafri has summoned his players more than a month before the beginning of the Toulon Tournament! A surely unusual fact for a national team.
His working method is quite intriguing, but successful. The coach of Indonesia U19 already won a trophy, the U19 Asian Cup, against Vietnam in 2013. A very valuable title when we know Indonesian senior team still didn’t win anything…
