Jan Suchoparek (Czech Republic Coach): "We've done some mistakes"
Jan Suchoparek, Czech Republic coach, talks about his team loss against Ivory Coast (1-2) and the third-place playoff against Scotland.
"We didn't get ready for the start of the game, we have done some mistakes, but we lost because our opponent was very strong. We played well in the first half and we had a few chances, but with finishing problems. We were very bad during the first twenty minutes of the second half and our display was better after some changes.
For me, our team would deserve a draw cause both teams had opportunities. I am happy of my players performance, especially their intensity.
We have not won any medal in this Tournament for a very long time. Winning the third-place playoff is a chance to make history. I already told the players. We prepare ourselves to try to win the next game, and that is what we will do "
