OFFICIAL : Turkey to take part in the Toulon Tournament 2018
This year, the Toulon Tournament will be held from 26th May to 9th June 2018. The competition will feature 12 teams placed in 3 four-team groups. The three top teams of each group as well as the best second placed team (of all the groups) will advance to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the other teams will play another game to determine their final ranking in the competition.
We are delighted to announce that Turkey will take part in the Toulon Tournament 2018. Six years after its last participation, the Turkish national team is back in the south of France. Until now, the Turkey’s best run in the Toulon Tournament was made in 2012 when Necip Uysal and his teammates have reached the final of the competition.
A number of famous Turkish players took part in the Toulon Tournament like Sabri Sarioglu in 2004. We can also talk about Nuri Sahin and Caner Erkin who took part in our competition in 2008.
