Dream debut for Fousseni Diabaté with Leicester City
Signed during the January transfer window by Leicester City from Gazelec Ajaccio, Fousseni Diabaté (who played the Toulon Tournament in 2016), has enjoyed a dream debut with the Foxes on Saturday.
The 22-year-old Malian forward has started the FA Cup fourth round game against Peterborough (5-1) and has found the net twice. Except these two goals, Diabaté was bright throughout the game and posed a constant threat to the Peterborough defence.
'He has good attributes to play in the Premier League: pace, a good engine. He can make good penetration but also good combinations with his team-mates. IIt was a good game for him to show his quality. Now, he has to continue this good work on the pitch and in training, and step-by-step we will see if we can give him some game time in the Premier League”, said the Leicester City coach Claude Puel after the game.
