Hans Hateboer earned his first Netherlands call-up
Recently named as the Netherlands coach, Ronald Koeman (who played the Toulon Tournament in 1982 by the way…) has unveiled his first squad for the upcoming friendlies against England (23rd March) and Portugal (26th March).
In this provisionary squad of 33 players, we find several new faces including Hans Hateboer.
Three years after playing the Toulon Tournament 2015, the 24-year-old defender has been handed his first Netherlands call-up. It sounds like a reward for the performances made by the Dutchman with Atalanta so far.
Hateboer established himself as a key player for the Serie A side as he has already played 32 games in all competitions this season. He has now the opportunity to confirm his good form by making his international debut.
