It seems like a dream season for Anderson Talisca. Plenty of goals, some assists and a string of consistent performances : the Besiktas midfielder plays currently his best football. Enough to be rewarded by a Brazil call-up by the national head coach Tite to face Russia the 23th March and Germany the 27th March. His first one since nearly four years and a call-up on November 2014 handed by the former coach Dunga.
After clinching the Toulon Tournament on 2013, the 24 years old player is in a wonderful form and became essential to his club. In thirty-six games this season, he scored sixteen goals (ten in Turkish league, four in Champions League) and offered four assists so far. Thanks to his performances, Besiktas fights for the title at the second place, just three points behind Galatasaray.
Since last season, Talisca is one of the best players in Turkey. Last year, he already had a great influence in his team, scoring seventeen goals in thirty-three games and clinching the Süper Lig title.
If they will certainly leave the Champions League after their loss against Bayern in the first game of the round of sixteen (5-0), Talisca and Besiktas will have the same goal until the end of the season : retain their title. And for the Brazilian, win, shine... and maybe earn his place into the Brazil squad for the World Cup in June.
