This week has been full of emotions for some players who took part in the Toulon Tournament. From Mexico to Serbia, a number of them have won a title over the last days.
Across the Atlantic, Chivas Guadalajara clinched their second CONCACAF Champions League title as they have beaten the Canadian side Toronto FC. A number of Maurice Revello Tournament former players have been pivotal in this success. Alan Pulido and Rodolfo Pizarro have scored the two goals of their team during the first leg (2-1) while Angel Zaldivar has netted the winning penalty in the second leg (1-2, 4-2 pen). It should be noted that Carlos Cisneros has started as well the two legs against Toronto.
On Saturday, Roger Assalé and Young Boys have been crowned Swiss champions for the first time in thirty-two years after their 2-1 win over Luzern. The Ivory Coast international, who played the Toulon Tournament 2015, has played a key role for the Bern-based club this season as he scored 12 goals and delivered 11 asissts in 30 league games so far.
Meanwhile, the Red Star Belgrade and Damien Le Tallec (Maurice Revello Tournament 2011) clinched the Serbian league title.
