Wilfried Kanga (France forward) : "I am here to win the tournament with my teammates"
After the France win over South Korea (4-1), the Angers striker, who scored at the 50th minute, gave his feeling about the game. He is satisfied and aims to win the competition with Les Bleuets.
"Since the start of the game, we knew what we had to do. We were all determined . We did everything to win the game.
The instructions were to attack since the beggining, to press them and make them play long balls.
The aim is to win the competition. All the players has this in mind. We are focus and we will try to to reach our goal.
I am here to win the Tournament with my teammates. I am also here to score goals. It is always a proud to represent his country in such a Tournament.
Johan Radet (France head coach) : "I am happy with the involvement and the commitment of the boys. For the most of them, they didn't know each others before this Tournament. There are a lot of players who are called-up for the first time. We had to find some cohesion and for a first game, it's interesting."
It is always important to start well a Tournament. It is a first step we reached.
We started the game as we wanted. We could add one or two goals but we did the wrong choices. Then, we were a little bit smug. Maybe the boys thought it will be easy. It permitted to Korea to come back in the game. On the second half, they reacted and it waken up the players."
