Sousa Helio (Portugal head coach) : « We were not efficient »
After their draw against Canada for their first game in the tournament (0-0), Portugal already have the obligation to win their next game to qualify. Reaction of the head coach, Sousa Helio.
"We came with our U19 team, all the other teams are older than us. This tournament will be a great experience for us. We want to win all the games we will play, but today we were not so efficient and we were held to a draw. But we will learn a lot about this game, to be stronger for the next one and more prepared for the competition.
We were stronger in the second half than in the first. The Canadian pressing disturbed us, they were very strong on that part. We were much better after the rest, we had more chances. We will try to be better in the efficiency for the next game.
We will fight for the first place. We are happy about what our players did. We have all the chances to kepp fighting for the first place or to be the best second."
