Mucahit Can Akcay (Turkey forward) : « We are here only to win »
The double goal scorer gave his feeling about the game of his team, who beat Japan (2-1).
"Before the game, we knew Japanese players were fast, even if they are not tall. We also knew they had a well prepared system. We worked a lot on that and it permitted us to win the game.
We will face Canada and Portugal for the next games. Both teams are strong even if they have not the same reputation. We are Turkey. We are here only to win. It's our first aim.
We changed our tactics in second half after we saw Japan unsettle our defense. They played well so we tried to defend better and it paid."
